Kick off your Saturday nice and early with coffee, capoeria and chow.
Here’s how to get your own killer jeans…
Some of you may remember this post (click here) on my last pair of LB jeans. Needless to say, I basically live in them. Lucky Brand let me grab another pair so I tried on a few different styles and colours this time. Which ones are you feeling – The Charlie, The Brooke, The Charlie Super Skinny or The Lolita?
I chose the sweet grey Charlie skinny’s which will probably become a staple this winter.
Now dear readers, what’s cool is that not only are Lucky Brand offering you a 20% sale on accessories starting today, but they’ve also now got a range of jeans starting at R499. Hello shopping spree! They’re also starting live in-store music AKA “Lucky Sessions” so you can get down while checking out yo’ hot booty in dem jeans. (Their change rooms have some seriously flattering mirrors as a bonus.)
To celebrate, Lucky Brand and myself are giving away three pairs of jeans valued at R499! To enter, head to Facebook or the Twitter machine, follow @girlwithabum and @LuckyBrandSA and tell us which jeans you preferred and how you’d style them. You can tweet us or comment on the Facebook post as many times as ya like and you can also share the comp for extra entries. Click here for my Facebook and here for the Lucky Brand page. Winners announced 2 April.
Pst – these rad Lucky Brand offers are limited so head to their flagship store at the Pav and shop ‘em before they’re gone. They also have a range of shoes and accessories that you’ll dig.
“The Archiball is an evening soiree open to delegates, students and the public which will be held in John Milne Street, otherwise known as Beer Hall in Rivertown. This unique and historical Durban location will allow the opportunity for those attending to experience the diverse architectural urban landscape that Durban has to offer.”
I’m giving away two sets of double tickets lucky readers. Just head to my Facebook Page here and share the poster!
See ya’ll next week.
As a girl, I have gone to numerous salons to get my nails did, eyebrows waxed and several other necessary beauty treatments/tortures. I have never really become a regular, normally just going with whatever was easiest. But it seems, I have become a die-hard customer of Miss Courtney Shaw’s, without even realising…
Courtney is an ethereal pixie of a woman, who I see most regularly to get my manicure fix. I keep going back for her company as well as this special shellac treatment that has kept my nails stronger and purdier than ever. Seriously, I have never been able to maintain long nails until now – I am a women obsessed!
You can also get a string of other treatments done here and I have to say that I have been as satisfied with everything else that I have had done. I would genuinely and seriously recommend trying out this quaint little salon for your next eyelash tint or pedi.
Seeings as I believe whole-heartedly in the power of a good mani (my go-to pick me up), Miss Shaw is offering for ya’ll to get your Shellac mani for just R180. All you have to do to qualify for this discount, is make your booking and tell her that “Jenna sent you”.
Ok so it needn’t sound as gangsta as that, just give her a heads up that you were referred by Yours Truly, before the end of May.
Please send me pics if you get it done! Would love to share in the unadulterated mani-happiness!
